Kingsdown from Farleigh Down taken near the top of the Hollow between Bathford and Monkton Farleigh, this area is now woodland.

During the early twenties Kingsdown Hill was used as a hill climb for motorcycles. Here a rider passes the Swan whilst people look on,  outside of the pub is a  horse and a motorbike and sidecar. On the other side of the road people are sat at the edge of the quarry entrance.
